Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our dynamic team. We are proudly working with a state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Pecos, Texas, committed to providing the highest quality patient care.
Opportunity Specifics:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shifts: 8:30a-5:00p M-F
- On call rotation week 1 - M, W, F, Sat, SU (14hr call each day, 24 hr for weekend days)
- week 2 - Tues, Thur (14 hr call each day
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care by conducting various diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced ultrasound equipment. Your expertise and attention to detail will be essential in assisting physicians with accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including OB, small parts, vascular, and breasts.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Position patients correctly and use appropriate techniques to obtain high-quality images.
- Evaluate and analyze images for diagnostic quality, ensuring all necessary structures and areas are captured.
- Collaborate with the medical team to discuss findings and contribute to patient management decisions.
- Document and maintain patient records, including imaging files and relevant information.
- Adhere to established protocols, safety standards, and infection control measures.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- AHA (American Heart Association) certification is required.
- State licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist in Texas.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment, techniques, and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and occasional weekends as required.
