Summary
Per Se Group has a great opportunity for an experienced Assistant Plant Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity in Indiana. The Assistant Manager works directly with the Plant Manager by overseeing all technical activities & staff while working collaboratively with leadership to help drive initiatives for plant efficiency, safety, and overall functionality.
Responsibilities Lead proactive safety initiatives at the station to enhance the safety culture, promoting overall safety awareness and compliance.Provide technical support for the Process Safety Management Program, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations.Act as the station's Technical Authority, offering expertise and guidance on technical matters.Offer strategic technical direction to the Station’s Management Team, actively contributing to the station’s success by developing, implementing, managing, and communicating the technical plan.Direct the technical team to achieve business targets outlined in the annual station plan, operating goals, and projects, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.Oversee engineering activities for completion of capital and O&M projects, ensuring profitability and meeting current and future plant needs, while also supporting thermal performance activities and environmental compliance efforts.Preferred Skills and ExpertiseA Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred. A Professional Engineer’s license is preferred.Minimum 15 years of experience in power plant operations / maintenance, power plant engineering or field service is required.
