This is a hybrid opportunity in North Portland, but remote work could be offered after a training period. Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable professional with a background in managing multi-entity AR processes, acquisition integration, and proficiency in QuickBooks. Experience in maintaining compliance with SOX regulations is highly desirable. This role is initially a contract position with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and company growth. Responsibilities: Manage accounts receivable functions across multiple entities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AR processes during acquisitions, ensuring seamless financial consolidation.Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and reconcile AR accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.Monitor aging reports and collections, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely payment and minimize bad debt.Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.Implement and maintain AR policies and procedures in accordance with SOX compliance requirements.Prepare AR-related documentation for audits and assist with audit inquiries as needed. Qualifications: Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.Proven experience (3-5+ years) as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a tech or startup company.Strong understanding of multi-entity AR processes and acquisition integration.Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements related to AR processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
