The Dispensing Nurse at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries (“Kolmac” or the “Company”) is responsible for the daily monitoring of patient’s needs and care of all patients reporting to the OTP clinic. This person works with the Nurse Manager, Medical Director and Clinical Supervisor to ensure appropriate medical care for patients. This individual is also responsible for the completeness of all medical aspects of the medical record. The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for dispensing any medications the clinic may utilize in the treatment of patients.

Performs all duties within regularly scheduled hoursGreets each patient to confirm identity and proper medication using two patient identifiersResponsible for medical services to be in compliance with Federal, State, CARF, and COMAR regulations/standardsManages medication InventoryDispenses medication according to protocolProcesses medical ordersPerforms physical examinations and medical evaluations on clients as requiredRecalls conducted in accordance with program protocolMaintains accurate records. Submits and files all documentation within 24 hours of eventCollects specimens and submits / processes appropriatelyParticipates in review of new, readmissions and transfer clientsProvides intervention in crisis situationsAssists Nurse Manager in daily program operationAssesses clients for treatment needs and interventionsInteracts with outside agencies for referrals, dosage verification, and other elements of coordination of care. Represents the agency professionally in person as well as over the phoneDelivers medication as neededMaintains a cooperative and positive attitude and approach to patients, staff and visitors
Education and Experience:

Must Haves: Graduate from an accredited school of nursingLicensed within the state of Maryland as an LPN1 year experience in medication assisted treatmentCPR certified within 3 months of hireWill be required to submit to PPD screening or provide record of screening from previous employer within the past year Apply today to hear more about Concerted Care Group/Kolmac PandoLogic.
