Cottonwood Village, a premier retirement community in Cottonwood Village, provides quality care to residents in an INDEPENDENT LIVING, ASSISTED LIVING, MEMORY CARE community.

This position will focus on providing care and ensuring that the health and safety of all clients are met. This Nursing QMA will assist the nursing department with caring, coordinating, and managing the needs of the residents at the community and act within the State Regulations and Sonida Senior Living Policies and Procedures. The QMA is responsible for the care, coordination, and monitoring of resident care service delivery under the direction of the community's Executive Director and Wellness Director. This role will report to the Wellness Director and will have responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director and/or the Wellness Director at the assigned community, and oversight by the community's nursing leadership.

Eligibility based on location

Responsibilities include:

* Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality and home like

environment for the residents.
* To assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming. To help make beds and empty trash.
* To monitor and assist with medication provision following standards established facility policies and procedures. To properly

document medication provision, services delivered and, if appropriate, resident condition.
* To follow instructions given by supervisor and communication with supervisor on resident health questions/concerns as

necessary.
* To escort residents to various parts of the building as needed. To assist with resident activities as instructed.
* To assist with meal service, i.e., serving residents, cleaning tables, etc.

necessary. To treat residents with dignity and respect at all times. To perform other duties as assigned by medication aide

supervisors.


* To maintain a safe, clean environment within the assigned duty areas. To respond to resident call light signals promptly. To

be tactful and courteous when dealing with residents, families, visitors, and staff.mation

Qualifications:

* Must be licensed or certified by the operating state to administer medications through a QMA or CMA, and must

maintain current and unencumbered licensure.
* CPR/First Aide Certified
* Detail oriented with the ability to count and stay organized

Physical Requirements

* Standing, walking, full range of motion, ability to lift/carry medium weight (up to 35 pounds), pushing, pulling light weight,

peripheral vision, corrected vision and hearing, depth perception, and sense of touch. Ability to move about with

reasonable accommodations, reach, turn, twist, and touch.
* Must be able to operate community equipment.
* Must be able to provide personal care to resident, ambulating, transferring, toileting, and turning an individual of 150

pounds.
