We are hiring Sr. Eggplant Automation Engineer for Pittsburgh, PA / Dallas, TX.


Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Eggplant functional testing to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating automated tests to support our development processes and ensure high-quality software delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Eggplant testing tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and functionality of the application.
  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test processes, ensuring alignment with software development processes.
  • Execute automated tests and analyze results to report to the development team.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate automation scripts with the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders to ensure software functionality and quality.
  • Keep up to date with the latest testing tools, strategies, and trends, specifically those related to Eggplant testing.
  • Configure and maintain test environments, including necessary data setup and hardware.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that automation code standards and best practices are being followed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Eggplant Functional and Eggplant Manager tools.
  • Strong scripting skills and experience with SenseTalk, or similar scripting languages.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
