Do you have HR experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting? If so we have a great opportunity for an HR Generalist in the Boston MA area (facility located in nearby Lynn MA).This position is initially temporary and has potential to convert from temp to permanent based on good performance.

Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 based on experience

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00 pm

What will you do:

Handle a variety of HR tasks and processes including recruiting, onboarding, orientation, employee relations, and HR administration
Maintain job descriptions and update requirements
Manage recruiting, testing, and interviewing counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews.
Conduct orientation and training programs.
Maintains a pay plan; schedules and conducts job evaluations.
Ensures planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
Maintain employee benefits programs and informs employee of benefits by studying and assessing benefits needs and trends.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.
Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

What is essential for this job:

Knowledge of HR practices along with discipline processes and procedures.
2+ year of supervisory or leadership experience is a strong plus. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
Strong computer skills
Bilingual Spanish-English language skills is a plus.
