Position Purpose:

To provide friendly and efficient food service to guests.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Check pantry to ensure adequate supply of seasonings and food items.
  • Report any inventory shortages to the Food & Beverage Shift Manager.
  • Prepare sauces, garnishes, and side dish items before they are needed.
  • Prepare short order food items when they are ordered. Become familiar with preparing and pricing all menu items.
  • Accept payment, make change, and operate point of sale system to record and track sales.
  • Provide courteous, accurate, and efficient guest services.
  • Follow all food safety ordinances and regulations.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. Monitor equipment and report any maintenance concerns as needed.
  • Breakdown workstation and restock items for next shift.
  • Comply with tip reporting procedures and Title 31 requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Education/Qualifications :
  • Previous grill cook experience in a fast paced or high volume establishment preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Requires food handler's permit.
  • Requires liquor license.
Licensing:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License

Work Requirements:

Shift: Part-Time

Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
