As our portfolio continues to grow, so do our Teams Mark-Taylor is hiring Roving Service Technicians in the Greater Phoenix Area As a Roving Service Technician, you will travel daily to various communities in our Class-A portfolio. You will assist the community teams and represent Mark-Taylor through the delivery of exceptional customer service. You're Excited About This Role Because You Will: Travel to various communities in the Mark-Taylor Portfolio, providing assistance as needed Provide assistance to onsite teams in the daily maintenance tasks including work orders, groundskeeping, and make-ready duties. Assist in the completion of make ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintains adequate supply of make-ready units for the Community. Trouble-shoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs. Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available. Perform daily pool care, assures pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns. Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys I nspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and corrects the hazard to inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of the hazard. Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies. We're Excited to Meet You Ideally, You Will Bring: 2 or more years experience working as a maintenance technician, apartment turn technician, make ready technician, or work order technician in the Property Management industry. Willingness to travel daily to different community locations throughout the valley (vehicle allowance provided) Above average knowledge in the following areas: Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA-related standards. One or more industry specific professional certifications (EPS, HVAC, CPO, or similar) Service orientation. Basic computer skills. A basic understanding of written and verbal English.
