Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Mobile Patrol in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This role includes armed responsibilities and requires driving as part of your daily duties. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure under pressure. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor for and report any irregularities or security-related concerns as observed during patrols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents within the government facility. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required by site protocols. Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner. Adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures while performing armed patrol duties.Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience are required. An armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
