The Patient Care Tech Progressive Care Unit will report directly to the Nurse Manager of the Progressive Care Unit. This role involves close collaboration with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
The Progressive Care Unit is designed for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessments, typically those who are transitioning from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or who need more intensive care than provided on a general medical-surgical floor. The PCU is equipped with advanced technology to monitor patients’ conditions and provide necessary interventions promptly.
