We are seeking a stellar candidate to join our client as a Buyer. This is a full-time role, essential in supporting their business growth.
What will I do?
As a Buyer you will manage supplies needed for client products and business portfolios (orders) and provide the logistics support critical to the sales of our client’s offerings. As the Buyer, you are responsible for generating, processing, and maintaining purchase orders, maintaining price lists, and updating schedulers and customer service specialists on supply status, and working with suppliers to ensure supplies are ordered and tracked in the ERP. Communication, detail orientation, multitask oriented, accountability, self-motivation, and time management are key to success. This role is responsible for working directly with customer service specialists, schedulers and sales teams within the Sales Department. You will report to the branch Office Manager. This role offers the opportunity to work a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with suppliers, account coordinators and schedulers but may also interact with sales agents, project managers, branch and corporate partners and warehouse personnel.
- Track down purchases, making sure you know where the product is going and when it will arrive.
- Receive, process and place supply orders including scheduling shipment of goods via land, air and or sea.
- Complete ad hoc reporting and data entry as needed, ensuring purchasing and supplier data is up to date within the ERP system (Epicor)
- Capture all supporting documentation for orders included but not limited to freight invoices and inventory management documents.

Requirements:
You must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this role:
- Associate degree in Business or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing or as a buyer.
- ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system knowledge for core supply chain, manufacturing, services, financial and other processes of an organization
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related discipline.
- Experience in a corporate sales and service environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
