Head of Finance | Lead the Future at a PE-Backed Healthcare Tech Innovator

Are you a driven finance professional eager to shape the future of a rapidly growing private equity-backed healthcare tech company? We're hiring on behalf of a distinguished, high-growth organization that's transforming the healthcare technology landscape. As they embark on their next chapter, you'll play a pivotal role in driving their financial strategy and building a scalable finance function from the ground up.
About the Role

In this high-impact Head of Finance role, you'll be directly responsible for steering financial strategy alongside the company's senior leadership, investors, and the Board. With over 30 years of profitability, the company is poised for significant growth, fueled by ongoing acquisitions and strategic initiatives. This is your chance to lead the finance function during a transformative time, with a unique balance of hands-on operational management and strategic oversight.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to guide decision-making.
  • Overseeing acquisitions and post-merger integration, ensuring seamless financial transitions.
  • Driving the company's private equity-backed growth strategy and managing relationships with investors and the Board.
  • Building and scaling the finance team as the company continues to expand.
  • Managing day-to-day finance operations, including AP, AR, and cash flow forecasting, in the early stages before transitioning to a leadership capacity.
This is a role where you'll have the freedom to build a financial function that directly influences the future of healthcare technology.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out

This isn't just another finance role-this is an opportunity to shape the future of a dynamic, investor-backed company. As the finance lead, you'll have:
  • Direct access to decision-makers at the highest levels, including the President and senior leadership team.
  • The chance to drive M&A activity and take full ownership of post-acquisition financial integration.
  • The opportunity to build a team from scratch and grow into a CFO-level role as the company scales.
  • A competitive compensation package ($150-225K + equity), full benefits, and a work-life balance focused on sustainability-not an 80-hour week grind.
  • The ability to make a direct impact in a company known for its innovative solutions and growth trajectory in the healthcare technology space.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a hands-on leader who can operate independently, but who also thrives on driving strategy in a high-growth environment. Ideally, you're someone who:
  • Has 5+ years of finance leadership experience, ideally within a PE-backed or high-growth environment.
  • Possesses strong FP&A expertise and M&A experience, especially overseeing financial integrations.
  • Is well-versed in the healthcare or health-tech space, especially in tech-driven or SaaS-based healthcare companies.
  • Is ready to roll up your sleeves and take on operational tasks (AP, AR, cash flow management) in the first 6 months, with a clear path to building and leading a finance team.
Location

This role is based in Wilmington, DE (Greater Philadelphia area) with flexibility for hybrid or remote work for the right candidate. You should expect some travel as part of your leadership responsibilities (approximately 2 weeks per month for remote candidates).
Next Steps

If you're a hungry, up-and-coming finance leader looking for a career-defining role in a prestigious, high-growth company, we want to hear from you.

Apply today to take your career to the next level. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of healthcare technology-don't miss out
