Veterinarian

Leitchfield Veterinary Clinic is very excited to add another veterinarian to our awesome team We are a long-established mixed animal practice that has been open for over 50 years. We’ve been at our current location since 1994, which boasts 5,000 square feet dedicated to small animal care and an additional 6,000 square feet for cattle, equine, and other farm animals. Our current caseload is predominantly small animal but we welcome any DVM that would like to expand our mixed animal clientele. Our ADVM, Dr. Nikki, also enjoys seeing pocket pets, reptiles, and chickens

Our two doctors work alongside 4 technicians (one taking their certification exam in July and the other three in school), 3 assistants, and 2 CSRs. We all get along extremely well and work hard to keep our environment relaxed and fun. We have weekly staff meetings, regular birthday celebrations/lunches, and holiday gatherings like our annual Christmas Party

On top of our spacious facility, we have great equipment like:

• Dental radiology
• Full body digital radiology
• Portable ultrasound for small and large animal
• OR with 2 tables and 2 anesthesia machines
• Treatment room with 2 wet tables
• Co2 Surgical Laser
• Cattle Shoot, 3 Stalls, and Truck available for farm calls

We would offer a new DVM a flexible schedule and prioritize their work-life balance, because we truly know how important that is Our practice is open Monday – Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM and our MDVM and ADVM rotate surgical days. We see about 4 surgeries each morning and afternoons are dedicated to just appointments. Ideally, we hope a new DVM would be able to work one Saturday per month from 8 AM to 12 PM.

We welcome DVMs of all experience levels and would happily provide mentorship to a new graduate Full or part-time positions are available. We can't wait to meet you
