Job Summary The Environmental Market Manager (Southeast Region) is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan for the environmental market—including wastewater, water treatment, environmental aftermarket sales, and environmental OEMs—and for growing sales and margins within this market across Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Responsibilities Manage Environmental Sales Channel Partners (SCP) to increase revenue. Oversee the sales cycle for Environmental Sales Opportunities and assist partners in closing projects. Utilize Dodge analytics, GovSpend, and dashboard metrics for SCP review meetings. Make joint sales calls with Environmental SCPs to position Seepex products and services. Educate SCPs and Environmental Engineers on Seepex products and specifications. Maintain a list of key biosolids and pump personnel within engineering firms. Review specifications, position Seepex products, and pursue competitive advantage on bid jobs. Direct Environmental Aftermarket Sales Partners and Territory Managers to visit plants as needed. Analyze named competitors and record any competitive differences. Select Seepex equipment and recommend it to Environmental Application Engineers. Hold pre‑bid meetings with Environmental SCPs to review pricing and strategy, bid projects, and track results. Identify key competitors and develop presentations to showcase Seepex advantages. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. 3+ years’ experience selling value‑based services. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Core Competencies Service‑oriented customer focus and relationship‑building skills. Strong closing and negotiating abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication, including public speaking. Rapid learning and retention of product information to position features and benefits. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Superior organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a flexible, fast‑paced environment. Preferences 3+ years’ sales experience in municipal or industrial water/wastewater treatment, environmental services, construction, energy, or engineering industries. Travel & Work Arrangements Remote base with up to 70% travel. Pay Range The total pay range for this role is $90,000–$110,000, not including incentive opportunities. Successful candidates will be eligible for discretionary or non‑discretionary annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
