JOB DESCRIPTION
SKILLS NEEDED :
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Technician supports the objectives of the manufacturing facility through the maintenance function by maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment. The position is responsible for a variety of equipment and repairs, which may include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.
Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Provides maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanically inclined and possess a strong degree of attention to detail.
Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment and procedures. Must have experience with hand and power tools.
Must be willing to learn and attend training classes as assigned.
Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Must have good judgment, planning and organization as well as concern for customers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read electrical schematics / blueprints.
Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing/setting.
Electrical experience, welding skills, and knowledge of PLCs a plus.
