Senior Mechanical Engineer We are actively seeking a dynamic, innovative, and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This permanent role requires knowledge and experience in air distribution, ventilation, automation, controls, design, development, construction, QA/QC, LEED, BD+C, and ASHRAE standards. The ideal candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of mechanical systems focused on air distribution, ventilation, and heat rejection. Utilize BIM software to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings. Implement automation and controls in mechanical system designs to improve efficiency and performance. Oversee the construction process, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with design specifications and quality standards. Conduct QA and QC checks throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve project objectives and meet client expectations. Stay updated on LEED, BD+C, and ASHRAE standards and incorporate them into designs where applicable. Provide mentorship to junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their professional development. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred). At least 5 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role with a focus on air distribution, ventilation, automation, controls, design, development, and construction. Proficiency in BIM software and other engineering design tools. Thorough understanding of LEED, BD+C, and ASHRAE standards. Proven experience in QA and QC processes. Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions. Strong communication skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
