*Duration*: 6 months

*Schedule: *
* *1st shift - 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday (May require Saturday work once a month).*
* *2nd shift - 3:30 PM - 2:00 PM Sunday - Thursday (May require Friday work once a month).*

*Summary*

You will assist in planting, pollinating, harvesting, threshing, shipping, weeding, preparing fields, preparing seed, sampling, detasseling, rogueing, and other field and seed activities related to crops and fields.

*Job Description*
* Indoor seed processing and packaging activities may include receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, labeling or warehousing seed.
* Outdoor activities may include harvest receiving.
* May be responsible for preventive maintenance of equipment in assigned areas.
* Manufacturing (Production) positions may also include organizing, moving and placing seed into storage, maintaining inventory accuracy utilizing electronic inventory systems.
* Activities may require bending and lifting, long periods of sitting or standing.
* Positions include harvest receiving, conditioning tower operator, packaging line operator, and warehouse worker.

*Skills Required*
* 1-3 Years of Experience.
* Must be able to understand verbal and written task and safety instructions delivered in English, and to perform assigned tasks accurately.
* Must be able to adhere to all client SOPs and to support all site safety requirements.
* Previous experience with MS Office / Excel and other standard computer and software systems may be required.
* Basic mechanical ability / understanding of equipment maintenance (able to operate and trouble shoot equipment) may be required.

*Education/Training/Certifications*
* Highschool degree or GED

* Shift:
* 1st shift - 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday (May require Saturday work once a month).

* Depending on position hired for your shift may rotate in January.
* Extended hours may be requested during the peak seasons.
* PPE required & not provided- Shirt w/ sleeves, long pants, safety toe shoes.
* PPE required & provided - High vis, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves.
