Cyber Solutions Engineer, Lead

The Opportunity:

As a lead cyber engineer, you understand the value of cyber operations to prevent aggression from our near peer adversaries, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyber and engineering expertise to create solutions that will be implemented on a worldwide stage. We're looking for a seasoned cyber engineer like you to apply your experience with cyber operations, cyber training, system hardening, and cyber system modernization in support of Joint and Multi-National Operations in the Pacific.

In this role, you'll lead a team of professionals as they use cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will coordinate, facilitate, and lead cyber training of US and partner forces. You will build capacity to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to the defense of the archipelago.In the absence of strategic systems and fielded capabilities, you'll provide bridging capabilities and commercial technology to fill immediate operational needs.

This is an opportunity to use your expertise to adequately assess and inform the Defense Enterprise on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures in the Pacific, and develop defendable theater architectures that survive constant aggression. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control and joint operations.

You Have:

  • 20+ years of experience in a cybersecurity field performing cyber engineering, cyber risk assessments, cyber authorization activities, and leadership of a cyber division

  • Experience with executing cyber risk assessment and authorization processes for complex programs and systems, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Experience with analyzing cyber vulnerabilities, assessing system compliance against security controls, and developing risk mitigation plans and strategies

  • Experience with eMASS entry, navigation, and operation

  • Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Nessus and ACAS Vulnerability scans, and ATO and IATT package requirements

  • Ability to collaborate effectively to incorporate cybersecurity solutions and develop high-quality strategies, implementation plans, and roadmaps

  • Ability to analyze cybersecurity documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Ports Protocols and Services Matrices (PPSMs), System Security Plans (SSPs), and Program Protection Plans (PPPs)

  • Top Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Certified Information Customer Security Professional Certification and Certified Information Security Manager Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in a cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership role

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and written formats

  • Possession of excellent presentation skills

  • CISSP Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
