You can earn as much as $36 per hour a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ashtabula, Ohio, and throughout the area, without having to worry about whether your schedule will fit your lifestyle. Monitoring the conditions of residents and providing updates to the nursing team
Measuring and documenting the basic vital signs of residents
Helping residents with grooming, feeding, toileting, and other basic activities of daily living (ADLs)
Transporting residents around the facility and assisting them with other movements, as needed during the day
Interacting with residents on a daily basis to keep them engaged, provide comfort, and build trusting relationships
Being accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and all applicable rules, regulations, and policies
Bridging communications between, and among, staff and residents (and their family members)
Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
Understanding of general nursing care procedures and terminology
Ability to communicate with medical professionals as well as patients/residents and their family members
