General Manager – McDonald’s Franchise Restaurant Opened by independent franchisee FRSCO Corporation, this role is for the restaurant’s owner/operator, not McDonald’s USA. All employment matters are handled by the franchisee. About the Role The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards. The GM sets goals with the restaurant leader and creates a plan to achieve them, leading a team of Department Managers, hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers, and continuously improving operational performance. Responsibilities Run a profitable restaurant while maintaining McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Set restaurant goals with the owner/operator and develop actionable plans. Lead a team of Department Managers; coach them to meet their own goals and improve department performance. Recruit, hire, and train Department and Shift Managers to build a strong, future‑ready team. Ensure staff compliance with safety and operational procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of age. Prior General Manager experience at high‑volume quick‑service or hospitality/retail locations. ServSafe certification and completion of McDonald’s training classes. Physical ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds; perform general cleaning duties; stand for up to 8 hours per shift; reach for top‑of‑equipment cleaning. Benefits Competitive pay.
