GDIT technologists, scientists, and innovators are experts in moving applications to the cloud, modeling massive data sets in high-performance computing environments, supporting innovative and bleeding edge technologies and scientific initiatives, defending the cyber landscape, and driving automation. **Specific Tasks:** **_Informatica Powercenter_** + Develop Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions + Proficient in Oracle SQL to create ad-hoc reports on an as-needed basis + Involved in the data analysis for source and target systems. Good understanding of Data warehousing concepts, Star schema and Snow-flake schema. + Extensively use Informatica powercenter to load data from and to diverse source and target systems, including Flat Files, XML, Oracle database, Salesforce, JSON. + Expert in loading data from unstructured data sources like JSON and PDF into structured format. + Works with application owner and key stakeholders to gather requirements and business analysis, translate business processes into technical specifications, design, and data modeling for the data warehouse. + Work extensively in Mapping Designer and designed complex mappings using different types of transformations like source qualifier, expression, filter, aggregator, rank, update strategy, lookup, stored procedure, sequence generator, joiner, XML. + Develop several reusable transformations and mapplets that were used in other mappings. + Perform Unit testing, Integration testing and System testing of Informatica mappings + Coded PL/SQL scripts. + Write Unix scripts and Cronjob to schedule the jobs from the Informatica server. + Setup folders, groups, users, and permissions and performed Repository administration using Repository Manager. + Involved in the performance tuning of the Informatica mappings and stored procedures and the SQL queries inside the source qualifier. + Involved in administering Informatica shared environment: + Installed server and client software in Unix and windows server and client machines. + Monitored Workflows and Sessions using Workflow Monitor. + Created, launched & scheduled workflows using shell scripting language and cronjob. + Wrote Unix scripts to automatically restart the server and the integration services whenever they went down. + Involved in the Performance Tuning of Database and Informatica. Improved performance by identifying and rectifying the performance bottle necks. **_Salesforce_** + Involve in gathering customer requirements from business user teams spread over various Offices. + Experience in analyzing organization processes, converting business workflows into exact Salesforce.com workflows and configuring solution to meet business requirements. + Involved in clearly identifying the data, business process and workflows of the organization with respect to salesforce.com implementation. + Manage the deployment process from development sandbox to Integration, UAT and Production environment. Deploy Salesforce code & metadata via ChangeSets & GearSet. + Work on various salesforce.com standard objects like Users, Accounts, Contacts and manage data in standard objects that is refreshed nightly from source systems. + Hands on Experience in creating Custom Objects, Custom fields, Page layouts, Custom Tabs, Reports and Dashboards and various other components as per the client and application requirements. + Hands on working experience in creating Custom Profiles, Permission Sets and Public Groups, and implemented Record-Level and Field-Level security and configured their sharing settings. + Develop Salesforce application utilizing Salesforce’s GUI, write Apex & Visualforce code. + Create Workflow Rules, Workflow Actions, Email Templates, Email Alerts, Field Updates and Outbound Messages to manage the Workflows & Approval Processes. + Develop processes utilizing process builder, screen flows, trigger flows and Auto launched flows. + Performed Data Analysis and migrated data from Lotus Notes database to salesforce. + Create Reports and Dashboards as per the customer requirements. + Work on Record Types, Validation Rules, Triggers and Page Layouts. + Used Data Loader for insert, update, and bulk import or export of data from Salesforce.com Objects. Used it to read, extract, and load data from comma separated values (CSV) files. + Create custom objects, assign fields, custom tabs, components. + Create custom Report types and Reports based on business need and associated them to Dashboard. **Education** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related discipline **Technical** Six (6) years of Information Technology experience Five (5) years of experience in Middleware, Data Warehouse, Data Mart and Data Integration applications Three (3) years experience with data warehouse solution designs supporting data stores such as ODS, EDW and DataMart Three (3) years experienced developing ETL solutions supporting star schema and snowflake designs using Kimball Design Methodology Five (5) years of IBM Infosphere DataStage experience. Three (3) years experience creating DataStage parallel and sequence jobs using standards. Strong understanding of OLAP business intelligence applications Strong understanding of reporting and database environments, processes, and associated applications Competencies leveraging data visualization tools for senior management and enterprise data visualization Ability to translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement required reports and dashboards Extensive experience writing and tuning complex SQL, with insight on database indexes and procedures. Minimum of three (3) years experience with Agile Methodology Three (3) years or more experience Unix Shell scripting Experience working in AIX environment Scheduling Tools (i.e.; Autosys) experience Two (2) years Healthcare Industry experience. **Here are the Bonus Points:** Experience with database design/modeling tools (preferably ERWIN), modeling techniques (multidimensional, logical and physical models). Experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage version 11.5. Hands-on experience with data architecture and data analysis skill sets Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills, including mapping of business need or issue to development of application requirements or procedural initiatives. Strong understanding of reporting and database environments, processes, and associated applications. Well-developed knowledge of operational systems, processes and budgeting/forecasting concepts and activities Proven ability to ensure effective forms of documentation essential for support of overall technical and user needs.
