The Cardiovascular Cath/Electrophysiology Nurse must be proficient in assisting the cardiologist and the healthcare team in performing cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures while monitoring and examining the patient before, during, and after the procedure.

Cardiovascular Cath Lab Nurse Qualifications
  • Medical specialties: Cardiology, Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Interventional Radiology, Invasive
  • Credentials: RN and/or RCIS
  • ACLS and BLS required
  • Extensive knowledge of diagnostic digital images and hemodynamic data
  • Must be able to scrub
