Cardiovascular Technologist, CVRT (Bayview) - $85 per hour Location: Johns Hopkins Intrastaff, Baltimore, MD 21201 Do you have the expertise to support cardiology procedures in a fast‑paced Cath Lab? This temporary 13‑week contract position meets that need. Schedule 4 – 10 hour shifts, day off varies 7:00 am – 5:30 pm on‑call required Pay Rate $85 per hour Responsibilities Assisting physicians with cardiology related procedures including left heart cath/right heart cath/PCI/IABP insertion, pericardiocentesis, Swan‑Ganz insertion, stress testing, nuclear stress testing, implantable LOOP recorder. Operating in multiple areas such as Cath Lab, Stress Lab, and Nuclear Stress Lab. Supporting roles including radiology technologist, documenter, Stress Lab assistant, Nuclear Stress Lab assistant. Requirements Responsible for assisting physicians with the performance of cardiology related procedures including left heart cath/right heart cath/PCI/IABP insertion/pericardiocentesis/swan‑Ganz insertion/stress testing/nuclear stress testing/implantable loop recorder. Will function in multiple areas with the cardiology area such as Cath Lab/Stress Lab/Nuclear Stress Lab. Will function in a variety of roles such as radiology technologist/documenter/Stress Lab assistant/Nuclear Stress Lab assistant. Qualifications Minimum of High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Either a Maryland Radiologic Technologist License or RCIS certification. ARRT is required. Current BLS and ACLS are required.
