**Certifications:** BLS, NRP, Intro to Fetal Monitoring

**Must-Have:** Ability to circulate in the OR, competency in normal newborn assessments, and routine baby care

**Job Description:**

- Work in a 16-bed labor room and 9-bed antepartum unit.
- Provide care in a unit with 3 OR suites for C-sections and a 7-bed triage unit for patients over 20 weeks with pregnancy complaints.
- Float to Postpartum when needed and occasionally act as a "sitter" on the house.
- Conduct high-risk OB and routine obstetric care.
- Manage and titrate drips such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and pain medications.
- Work alongside a charge nurse on each shift, with 2 OB techs available for support.
- Perform duties in a facility where an OB/Neonatologist and CRNA are present 24/7.
- Handle nasal cannula tasks and troubleshoot RT equipment.
- Utilize the OBIX EFM System and perform tasks post C-section recovery with the use of tele monitors.
- Engage in self-scheduling and meet weekend requirements as needed, which could be every third weekend or up to every other.
- Fulfill holiday requirements of 1 major and 1 minor holiday.
- Participate in 2-3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation.
- Wear provided surgical scrubs as per dress code standards.
- Embrace teamwork, maintain a positive attitude, exhibit flexibility, and show eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
