Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Special Procedures Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Special Procedures Tech - Radiology Job Details: Work 4 10-hour shifts with call responsibilities 1:1 patient ratio in angiography/interventional radiology setting Work as part of 3-4 person teams (2 Tech, 2 RN - ideal staffing) ICU/ER experience required Critical care drip management experience needed Angiography/IR experience required including stroke and trauma care Must have critical care and angiography (IR) experience Required certifications: ACLS and BLS Uniform requirements: Navy blue and black for tech Work with specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, Jet Stream Use EPIC Cupid documentation system Perform procedures including Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, Trauma Work in 3 Angiography Labs (2 Dedicated IR Labs/1 Hybrid OR) Handle high acuity patient population No floating requirements Facility: This is a 612-bed healthcare facility serving as the region's only Level I trauma center and children's hospital. The facility offers comprehensive services including cancer care, cardiovascular care, and women's services. The hospital has earned recognition as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures and as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission.
