Job Description:
  • GSI lathes and produced hardware that goes onto cabinetry that goes onto airplane cabinets and doors.
  • Supports a Zero-Defect culture by inspecting incoming materials, first article production pieces, in-process production pieces, and finished products; recording quality results and enforcing the Quality Management System.
  • Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • Approves production quality output by confirming first article and in-process specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections; providing feedback to production, including areas needing attention or correction; confirming corrections.
  • Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs including DMR and RMA transactions; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Keeps measurement equipment operating by performing calibration procedures and maintaining records; calling for repairs.
  • Assisting the internal audit team by serving as an internal auditor, as needed.
  • Completes safety, product, company, system, compliance, and internal surveillance audits. Results of the audits along with improvement recommendations are to be communicated to various levels of management.

Work Site:

This is a fully on-site position in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Shift:
  • M-Th 6:30a-5p.
  • Could do 4 9/hr days and a half day on Friday once settled into the job.
Pay:
  • $19 - $29/hr
