OverviewLG Ad Solutions is a global leader in connected TV (CTV) and cross-screen advertising. The Senior Sales Director, Political, is on the front lines to make an impact. You will be partnering with political buying agencies and their clients to develop and deliver advertising programs that help them win. You will be responsible for managing existing and growing new political revenue across our suite of ad products, including CTV video, online video and native ads. A background in video advertising is required. Experience selling, planning, buying or streaming CTV, digital, video and/or linear is a plus. You are driven to work independently and resourcefully manage many duties, including relationship management and growth, and delivering excellent sales and customer service with the political support team. You have a proven ability to develop and execute sales strategy, tactics and business plans to help drive and maximize revenues. Ideally you have worked in a start-up environment and are confident operating amidst ambiguity. You are a fast learner and anxious to hit the ground running. This role reports directly to the VP, Political Practice.ResponsibilitiesAchieve sales goalsWork with a sense of urgency the political market demandsBuild and leverage strategic relationships with top political advertising agencies (linear, digital, full suite) and their clients (groups, committees & PACs) in Washington, DC and nationally to drive revenue growth and market shareProactively sell to agencies and their clients our full suite of ad products, including CTV video, online video, and native ads via managed service and programmaticEnsure our clients receive the highest level of sales and customer service in partnership with the political support teamDevelop data-driven solutions, compelling presentations, and campaign reporting working in conjunction with account management, operations, and analytics teamsClient Engagement & NetworkingAchieve monthly meetings and engagement targetsLead meetings and client engagement through in-person and zoom; as well as sales-forward phone / email interactions; and client entertainmentIdentify and consistently engage key decision makers to find new opportunities across both established and developmental accountsParticipate in key political and advocacy industry events to establish and grow relationships and further develop knowledge of the political video advertising landscapeLG Ads “One Team” CollaborationMaintain positive, collaborative relationships across internal teams and managementActively collaborate with the political support team and other internal teams to drive overall sales success including sharing political advertising best practices, competitive learnings, and new opportunities/ways of working togetherDeliver outstanding attention to detail and maintain high levels of accuracy within a deadline-driven environmentRequirementsMinimum 7 years working in the political advertising vertical.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and problem-solving skills.Organized and detail-oriented with managing multiple tasks and deadlines.History of building trusted relationships with top political advertising agencies.Success selling CTV, digital, and/or linear video into top agencies.Bachelor\'s degree, or equivalent education and work experience.Some U.S. travel required.Google Workspace, Salesforce experience.PreferredStreaming/CTV/Addressable TV experience.Programmatic experience.LG Ad Solutions provides equal work opportunities to all team members and applicants, and it prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, caste, religion, age, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by our policies or federal, state, or local laws.
