Join the team as a General Manager at Einstein Bros Bagels. Our bakeries have baked fresh bagels daily since 1995 and we are committed to joy, happiness, and work‑life balance for our team. Stores close at 2 pm for a short, productive day. Responsibilities Lead a one‑shift store open starting at 4 am with first bake and a 60‑minute closing process. Maintain audit readiness, execute catering, mobile, and in‑store orders, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Float in all positions during breakfast and lunch rushes, keep up on breaks, and meet high customer survey results. Train and develop all staff with 5 weeks of experienced training. Qualifications 1–3 years prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting. Hands‑on operator who can motivate and inspire the team. Prior exposure to P&L analysis and proven strategies to achieve food cost goals and labor targets. Recruit quality team members and develop internal talent. Must be at least 18 years old to apply. Benefits Competitive Pay – $55,000–$62,000 Attainable quarterly bonus – Over 60% of our GMs were bonused last year. Medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, disability, life insurance. 401K + company match. No nights / no evenings – operating hours 6 am–2 pm. Paid Time Off (PTO) – Accrue 180 hours in first year. Growth – 80% of new District Managers in 2022 were promoted from GM.
