Structural Drafter

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Structural Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed structural drawings and plans for various projects, including residential, municipal, and wetland developments. The Structural Drafter will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed structural drawings and plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand design specifications and requirements.
  • Utilize ENERCALC software for structural analysis and design calculations.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Review and modify existing drawings based on feedback from the engineering team.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation and presentations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Structural Drafter or similar role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
  • Familiarity with ENERCALC software for structural analysis.
  • Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Experience with municipal and residential projects is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
