Open to valid US visa holders Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer Experience: 8+ Years Work Type: Contract (C2C/W2) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen our information security posture across infrastructure, applications, and data environments. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced, technology-driven ecosystems. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will protect enterprise systems, networks, and cloud environments from cyber threats. You will design and implement security solutions, monitor security incidents, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and monitor security measures for networks, applications, and cloud environments. Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis. Develop and maintain IAM policies, encryption standards, and access controls. Respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and remediate vulnerabilities. Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments. Perform threat modeling, security audits, and compliance assessments. Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends. Document security protocols, configurations, and remediation measures. Provide guidance and training to internal teams on security best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience). Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP security services). Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and threat analysis. Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar). Deep understanding and experience with IAM, encryption, and secure key management and regulatory compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2. Vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident response. Endpoint security, logging, monitoring, and threat detection.
