* Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

* Implement and monitor patient care plans.
* Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
* Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
* Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
* Admit patients to NIC holding unit, performing assessments and completing required documentation per policy.
* Follow established procedures for performing non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing and cardio versions.
* Thoroughly assess the patient and their history so that appropriate data can be acquired and appropriate testing can be performed.
* Provide care to patients post procedure, implementing physician orders and readying patients for discharge or transfer to an impatient bed.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
