About The Job The Hematologic Malignancies Program at MedStar Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in Washington, D.C. is rapidly expanding and seeks a leukemia expert to serve as Medical Director for the Leukemia Program. This role offers the opportunity to work with a nationally recognized team in Lymphoma, Myeloma, Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplantation/Cellular Therapy at the only NCI‑designated cancer center in Washington, D.C. The candidate will lead the Leukemia Disease Group and help grow the established Leukemia Program into a destination site. Program Highlights Opportunity to work in an evolving and growing NCI‑designated program. Leadership position within the Leukemia program. Strong clinical, research, and administrative infrastructure. Collaboration with nationally recognized hematologic malignancies and BMT teams. Access to a state‑of‑the‑art NGS platform for routine care and research. Cell therapy dedicated team with on‑site Phase I support capabilities. Infrastructure support in APNs, research RNs, clinical, administrative, and research staff. Excellent salary and relocation package. Qualifications BC/BE Hematologist with an interest in Leukemia.
