Working safely is part of our culture and is a condition of employment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollow basic lab safety guidelines and regulationsTake direction from the supervisor and complete assignments in a timely mannerPrepare samples using laboratory dispersion and blending equipmentConduct standard tests following Standard Test Procedures including, but not limited to, viscosity, ICI, gloss, tint strength, density, pH, and scrub testsRecord and report test resultsReport problems associated with test equipment or test processesClean and maintain test equipment, and work areaPerform basic laboratory maintenance including, but not limited to, pour back, stocking lab supply, adhesion panel preparation, clean-upAlert supervisors to low levels of raw materials or supplies for projects Maintain regular communication with the supervisorEducation and ExperienceEducational attainment equivalent to high school graduationQuality control and production testing experience involving paints, varnishes, or general coatingsSkills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesKnowledge of basic lab skillsKnowledge of MS Office Suites and/or software applications related to job functionsKnowledge of lab safety guidelines and regulationsAbility to understand and follow defined testing methods and accurately complete test recordsCommunication, filing and some computer skills are required#MFGNHCompany: Behr Paint CompanyShift 3 (United States of America)Full timeHiring Range: $21.00Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.Our Ongoing Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion We believe a workplace that encourages and values different voices, perspectives, and backgrounds builds better teams, better solutions, and more innovation.
