Schuylkill is a premier medical imaging facility focusing on convenience and comfort, providing multi-modality outpatient services in Pottsville, PA.

Essential Functions of an Ultrasound Technologist

Performing general ultrasound exams, including breast, small parts, vascular and obstetrical exams in a timely and complete manner
Correlation of clinical history to the test that is being performed
Assure that all exams include accurate clinical and demographic information and high quality, complete images
Deliver exceptional customer care
Work as part of a team to assist radiologists, fellow technologists and office staff as needed
Adherence to safety protocols
Must be committed to quality patient care and exceptional customer service
Must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal), who can form and maintain effective working relationships with staff, radiologists, referring physicians and patients

**Part-time Ultrasound Tech must be able to work 2 evenings per week and Saturday shifts as needed

Required Education and Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in general ultrasound, including breast, small parts, vascular and obstetrical exams
High School degree or equivalent
Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
Accreditation by ARDMS
