RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BILLING SPECIALIST:
- Invoice Preparation: Generate accurate and timely invoices for legal services rendered, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines specific to the firm's practice areas.
- Billing Reconciliation: Review and reconcile billing discrepancies, making adjustments to maintain accuracy and client satisfaction.
- Client Communication: Respond to client inquiries regarding billing matters, providing professional and clear explanations of charges and payment options.
- Time Entry Management: Assist attorneys and staff with accurate time entry, ensuring proper allocation of billable hours and adherence to deadlines.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed billing reports for management, including outstanding balances and aging reports to assist with cash flow management.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE BILLING SPECIALIST:
- 1+ years of experience in an administrative or accounting-related role.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
