Position Summary/Purpose:

We have been engaged by one of our clients in the region to recruit a CT Tech to join their team. Strong leadership, great pay, and affordable housing options are just a few of the benefits this role has to offer.

In this advanced allied imaging role, you'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional imaging services, including ultrasound, CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. As a CT Technologist, your primary responsibility is to carry out all imaging and clinical functions related to CT technology. Additionally, you'll perform specialized imaging techniques and assist the Radiologist with interventional procedures requiring CT guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional.
Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients.
Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images.
Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging.
Examining images to ensure they’re usable.
Updating patient medical information.
Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment.
Keeping an inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
Required Certification / Licensure:
Current Basic Life Support certification
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
Texas Department of State Health certification
Work Experience:
1 year of experience is required.
