Senior Embedded Software Engineer #25450 Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a leading automotive technology organization, is seeking a skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer. This role is responsible for developing device drivers, building validation test cases, and supporting board bring‑up and verification activities for advanced electronic control systems. Job Duties Develop and maintain embedded software on Linux and RTOS platforms Collaborate with hardware and software teams on next‑gen SoC architecture Build and execute validation test cases in Python and C Perform board bring‑up and verification of PCBAs and ECUs Debug hardware‑software integration issues using industry tools Utilize Linux build systems, device trees, and kernel development practices Support early‑stage hardware/software co‑design efforts Contribute to high‑performance embedded solutions for EV platforms Skills & Experience Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering 7+ years of embedded software development experience Proficiency in C/C++ programming Expertise in Linux or RTOS environments Experience with Board Support Packages, kernel configuration, and device drivers Familiarity with hardware debugging tools such as Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, and JTAG Strong debugging skills across hardware/software layers Automotive industry experience, particularly in infotainment or connectivity platforms Knowledge of GNSS, UWB, RF, A2B, and Bluetooth Audio Experience with Linux kernel driver development and system bring‑up Blue Chip Talent is an award‑winning and woman‑owned talent solutions provider based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
