Their platform is already used by more than 1.8 million engineers worldwide to design products faster and more efficiently. With a proprietary dataset of over ten million components, schematic symbols, and footprints, they are scaling with AI-powered solutions that are reshaping how hardware is built.The RoleMy client is seeking a Director of Sales to lead and grow the sales organization while also carrying an individual quota. This is a player-coach role: you will manage a team of Account Executives, drive new business, and refine the company’s go-to-market strategy. You will report directly to leadership and play a critical role in scaling revenue for a product already loved by millions of engineers.ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of Account Executives (currently three), while expanding the team over timeCarry an individual quota of approximately $850K annuallyOwn the sales pipeline for component suppliers, focusing on net new accountsProspect, generate leads, and close deals with marketing leaders (Manager through CMO) in SaaS and semiconductor industriesExecute a streamlined sales process with prompt, value-based customer engagementCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and operations to finalize contractsUse data and sales tools (Hubspot, AI lead generation tools, LinkedIn plugins, Mixpanel, Tableau) to refine sales motions and improve outcomesDefine and implement strategic sales plans to accelerate growthQualificationsSeed or Series A startup experience within the last three yearsProven success carrying a quota of $500K or moreFive or more years of sales leadership experience, ideally in SaaS or semiconductor industriesStrong technical acumen and comfort with CRM and analytics toolsHigh energy, resourceful, and persistent, with the ability to thrive in ambiguityExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence, tell compelling stories, and build trusted relationshipsTeam-oriented, low ego, coachable, and dependableWhy This Opportunity Stands OutMission and Impact Contribute to scaling a product that is revolutionizing hardware design and already trusted by millions of engineers.Leadership and Growth Take on a player-coach role with direct ownership of both team success and individual performance.
