All religious, medical, or other legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered.Job SummaryPlans and completes the daily operations of plumbing and utility maintenance responsibilities including planning and use of materials and inspection of plumbing equipment and systems, as well as ensuring all work performed meets regulations throughout the medical center. $500 Sign On Bonus; $500 Retention Bonus After 6 Months4 ten hour shifts: 6:30am to 5pm with Rotating Off DaysResponsibilities:Coordinates and schedules the activities of skilled trades' staff in the maintenance and repair of hospital buildings and equipmentMonitors work orders to completion of projects to ensure that labor, supplies and materials are charged to appropriate work ordersProvides direction to staff in the accurate methods to use in the performance of their duties to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitorsConducts inspections of work sites to ensure that the work conforms and aligns with the job specifications.Recommends and implements policies and procedures for assigned areaEstimates equipment parts and materials needed to complete assigned workMaintains communication with vendors, contractors and departmental personnel to coordinate activities and information regarding the repair, alteration and maintenance of equipment, machinery, systems and buildingsConduct all work in accordance with the Joint Commission, NFPA and all other applicable regulatory agencies.Qualifications:A high school diploma or GED, College Preferred3-5 years of plumbing experienceHospital plumbing experience preferredAbility to read, write, speak and comprehend the English languageAbility to stand for long periods of time and withstand changing temperature conditionsAbility to maneuver large trucks in and out of elevator and down corridors with easeAbility to lift and push heavy equipmentAbility to bend with easeApply to Crothall todayCrothall is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
