Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Our Client is a Full-Service MEP Firm with a focus in the Life Science, Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical project space. They are hiring a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on high level engineering design and calculations experience. Job Description

+ Design electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.

+ Conduct electrical studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and coordination studies.

+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall building designs.

+ Perform medium voltage work, including distribution system design and equipment selection.

+ Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical systems.

+ Provide technical support during construction, addressing any electrical-related issues that may arise.

+ Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure designs meet the latest standards.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

+ EIT/PE license preferred.

+ 6-10+ years of experience in electrical system design and medium voltage work.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit plus

+ Proficiency in SKM, ETAP, or similar software

+ Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Work Environment

Newer office with a hybrid work model: 3 days in the office (Tuesday to Thursday) and 2 days working from home (Monday and Friday).
