Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a school district to hire a school nurse to work in Topeka, Kansas. As a school professional with SHC, you'll be supported by our Schools Center of Excellence, a dedicated team of recruiters and employment professionals that understand schools and your unique needs as a School-based LPN.
School Clinic LPN Contract Details:
- $31 - $34 an hour
- Extended School Year – LPN – School Clinic Nurse
- Hours per week: Part-time, 4 hours per day Monday - Thursday
- Start Date: Asap
- End Date: 6/27/2024
- Location: In-person
- Details: Part-time school clinic nurse for summer school session at Topeka, KS elementary school. The schedule is Monday – Thursday 4 hours per day. Must have experience with feeding tubes.
- Nurse will see students on an as-needed basis in the school clinic
- Duties will include but are not limited to providing healthcare to students with acute or chronic health problems. Conducting screenings and writing referrals for health services.

Requirements:
- Kansas LPN License
- American Heart Association BLS
- 1 year of school nursing or pediatric nursing experience.
