OverviewDeVine provides technical and educational support services to government clients.Our company is looking for a Storage Engineer to join DeVine in a full time capacity. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered.DeVine's clients supports military and federal civilian employees worldwide. Language instruction is the core mission. Classrooms are dispsersed nationally and internationally. Multiple IT networks at the classified and unclassifed level need expertise from the team.The client requires a full range of IT support and system engineering services including: hardware and software, infrastructure (including network support and data center) maintenance, operation, and Cybersecurity for various networks including secret level networks.Role highlightsPart of the data center support group, tasked with configuring SAN/NAS systems, managing backup solutions, and maintaining the security of the data centerPosition includes monitoring and providing daily support to ensure the health and availability of IT systems and infrastructure, both on-premises and for cloud-based programs and applicationsResponsibilities involve planning, installation, and maintenance, as well astroubleshooting and managing all Storage Engineer servers and applicationsRole involves designing, implementing, and overseeing an organization's data storage systems, working with networks, databases, and other high-capacity systemsDuties include planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours,troubleshooting, and managing all Storage Engineer servers and applicationsRequirementsBA/BS Degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience; or substitute with AA/AS with 7+ years’ experienceIAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) CertificationCE/OS CertificationExperience with SAN technologies in a highly virtualized and convergedenvironmentExperience maintaining a high availability datacenterRelevant skills include VMWare Vsphere, Linux Red Hat, Windows Server, SQL,MySQL, EMC SAN technologies and applications, and Active DirectoryCurrent Secret Clearance or higher preferredAbout the positionPosition Type: Full-time, Must be U.S. CitizenLocation: Monterey, CABenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Leave and Paid VacationCompensation: $97Kto 126K per year salary range DOE and skillsEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are committed to a policy of assuring that all applicants for employment are recruited, hired and assigned on the basis of qualifications and merit without discrimination based on any protected classification, including, but not limited to, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, veteran status, age, disability, handicap, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
