Quality Assurance Specialist - Contract - Richmond, VA

Proclinical is working alongside a pharmaceutical company seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their growing team in Richmond, VA.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Successful Candidate will be responsible for supporting quality and compliance activities within the immunology and infectious diseases sector. They will ensure timely quality support, develop knowledge in product formula and ingredient labeling, and understand quality requirements at various levels.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of quality and compliance activities.
  • Ability to provide timely support for quality-related tasks.
  • Knowledge of product formula and ingredient labeling.
  • Familiarity with local, corporate, and regulatory quality requirements.
  • Attention to detail in reviewing formula-related documents.
  • Ability to assist in conducting work following scientific practices and supporting data.
  • Experience in implementing quality strategies for efficient and compliant processes.

The Quality Assurance Specialist's responsibilities will be:

  • Provide support for quality and compliance activities.
  • Offer timely quality support for assigned tasks.
  • Develop and apply knowledge in product formula and ingredient labeling.
  • Understand quality requirements at local, corporate, and regulatory levels to assist in formulation management.
  • Review formula-related documents to ensure accuracy and traceability.
  • Assist colleagues and stakeholders in conducting work following sound scientific practices and supporting data, including change controls, raw materials, site formula manufacturing records, COAs, and composition statements.
  • Implement quality strategies that promote efficient, agile, and compliant processes for formula management.
