Join Us as an Independent Contractor


Kelly Government Services is seeking an Audiologist (AuD) in Lincoln, RI to conduct Veteran Disability Evaluations in your office. This is your chance to make a meaningful impact while supplementing your income.


As a 1099 independent contractor with us, you’ll use your clinical skills to evaluate and diagnose hearing conditions to support Veterans’ disability claims.


No patient billing, no scheduling, no ongoing care.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • VA Exam Request Received
  • Testing and Exam Scheduled for You, Based on Availability
  • Provider Reviews Records & DBQ Reports
  • Veteran In-Person Exam Completion
  • DBQ Report Submitted to Us via Simple Software (training provided)
  • Report Reviewed & Approved
  • Payment Processed and paid directly to you


Key Details:

Pay: Per exam with extra compensation for additional services

Caseload: Full-time roughly 6 cases per day; otherwise, scheduled based on your availability

Hours: Should be available weekdays; Usually scheduled between 8am-5pm; Can modify commitment/availability on a monthly basis.


Requirements:

  • Active Audiology License (Au.D, MA, MS)
  • Must have LLC or other business entity.
  • Prefer 2 years prior clinical exam experience (Compensation and Pension; C&P Exam)
  • Current license, free of discipline
  • Malpractice required (have or be willing to obtain)
  • Ability to attend online training prior to scheduling cases
  • If using own office, must have own ADA/OSHA compliant office that has an Audio Booth
  • If using own Audio Booth, must have “Sound Room Certificate of Measurement"
  • Be able to perform the following test: Audiogram (Puretone and Bone Conduction Thresholds), Acoustic Reflex Testing/Tympanometry (Ipsilateral and contralateral acoustic reflexes), Speech Discrimination Testing (Recorded Presentation using a Maryland CNC word list), and Stenger Test when applicable
