DescriptionSAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking creative and dedicated professionals to fulfill their career goals and objectives while delivering mission excellence on programs of national importance.We are seeking a strategic, organized, and proactive Information Technology (IT) subject matter expert (SME) and thought leader with expertise in technical areas, specializing in Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, Geospatial solutions, and associated platforms and tools. As the IT SME, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor and will advise the Government Program Manager (PM) regarding technical questions and issues that may arise from the various systems the PM is overseeing.This is a funded position.Your responsibilities will include the following:Providing technical expertise in creating, updating, maintaining, and visualizing software architecture to include data and servicesProviding technical documentation to support the architecture of the portfolio of projects to include Concept of Operations (CONOPs)Serving as a technical liaison with regard to system architecturethat focuses on performance, availability, redundancy, data protection, and information securityCollaborating with customers to evaluate mission drivers, identify challenges, define mitigation strategies, assess applications and services, develop transition plans, and develop business cases in support of Cloud and other initiativesProviding technical knowledge and analysisof highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and providing implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementationAssisting the customer with technical oversightof the Service Provider(s) for the portfolio of projectsProviding technical leadership for the integrationof IT requirements, design, and technologyInteracting with the Government regarding systems engineering IT technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflictsFacilitate metrics across the IC communityQualificationsRequired:Active TS/SCI with Poly is REQUIREDBachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years or more of relevant experience; Master's degree and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience3-5 years of experience working within an IC Agency3+ years of technical hands on experience with Cloud and Enterprise ArchitectureSoftware development backgroundExperience with Geospatial tools such as ESRIExperience with IT governanceBroad experience and understanding to be able to provide sound technical advice to the Government PM on a range of topicsAbility to call balls and strikes in meetings with other technical personnel for the customerAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentPlease note: This is not a PM position. We are seeking someone with a technical background that can assist our customer with architecture platform transitions and recommendations.Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000.
