Service Technician - Washington, DC (Morse Apts.) Join to apply for the Service Technician - Washington, DC (Morse Apts.) role at LCOR LCOR is currently seeking an Experienced Service Technician to join our team at Morse Apartments in Washington, DC. The Service Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. Responsibilities Perform maintenance functions to maintain and enhance the value of Morse Apartments. Inspect property and report safety hazards or needed repairs to Maintenance Supervisor. Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc. Accompany vendors in occupied units for services, including but not limited to pest control, property inspections, etc. Assist office staff with delivery of resident notices. Qualifications 1 to 3 years of experience in Property Management. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, elevators, and energy management systems. Excellent Customer Service Skills. Experience using Yardi or other Property Management Software. Must be able to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be available to assist in after-hours emergency situations. Must be available for night/weekend call duty. Must be able to work during inclement weather. Additional Duties Plumbing/Electrical skills is a must. High Rise Experience preferred. Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms. Appliance repairs. Roofing inspection/minor roof repairs. HVAC repairs – Active HVAC Certification & experience is a must.
