Employer Industry: Insurance and Actuarial Services Why consider this job opportunity Salary up to $215,000.00 Opportunity for career advancement and growth within a collaborative team environment Hybrid work arrangement with flexibility to work remotely up to three days a week Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a company‑paid pension plan Mentoring opportunities with industry experts to shape the future of commercial lines capabilities Minimum of 18 days paid time off each full calendar year What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) Provide technical expertise in complex actuarial analyses and methodologies Drive innovation and problem‑solving initiatives within the actuarial team Develop code‑based solutions to streamline actuarial processes Prepare and present actuarial findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences Lead onboarding and training for new associates while creating training materials What is Required (Qualifications) Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a similar field requiring modeling and quantitative analysis Generally, six or more years of actuarial experience Actuarial designation (ACAS) and working towards FCAS or recently attained FCAS Detailed knowledge of actuarial business functions and statistical methods of analysis Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and analytical software How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Actuarial knowledge and experience in commercial lines Ability to mentor junior actuaries and contribute to team development Familiarity with data manipulation and querying, including experience with Databricks Strong communication skills to effectively represent findings to various stakeholders #Insurance #Actuarial #CareerGrowth #HybridWork #Mentorship #InsuranceIndustry We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal‑opportunity employment.
