Pipe Superintendent

As a Pipe Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing HVAC construction projects and will manage project needs including but not limited to materials, personnel, schedules, and communication with project management team, customers, and building officials.
Job Duties
- Full understanding of project schedule/milestones, submittals, contract documents (addenda, specifications, drawings) and in-house shop drawings; and would also be able to utilize these documents to coordinate work on site with other trades
- Complete required paperwork and diligently process daily reports, next week plans, accident reports, disciplinary reports, etc. with handheld device
- Run and manage large scale commercial HVAC/piping construction projects and oversee multiple job sites simultaneously
- Proven experience managing multiple crews from Foreman to Apprentice level
- Proven ability to coordinate with other trades to complete HVAC/piping scope of work within project schedule
- Capable of making prudent monetary decisions on behalf of the company up to $5k
- Accountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment on their job sites
- Proven ability to plan ahead
- Understands the flow of the project and can communicate with the operations or project manager on current or future labor needed on the job
- Understands/complies with the company tool policy and can pass these values to less experienced employees
- Able to install piping systems to include chilled, hot and steam piping
- Able to work from ladders, manlifts and other equipment at various heights
- Perform other related duties or special projects, as needed
Requirements
- 10 or more years of experience running and managing commercial HVAC piping/welding construction jobs
- 6G certification required
- Supervision of projects ranging from $1M - $5M in value
- Experience supervising job site personnel – Foreman to Apprentice level
- Ability to lead a team to include teaching and coaching
- Experience completing required documentation electronically
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (company will provide if needed)

- Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed
- Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pass a full background screening, MVR and drug screening
- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects
Compensation
- Wage Range Starting at: $32.00+/hr. based on qualifications & experience
