The Medical Imaging Technologist is responsible for conducting medical imaging examinations, producing high-quality x-ray images, and maintaining imaging equipment. This role requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting medical imaging examinations under physician direction.
  • Producing high-quality x-ray images of specified body areas.
  • Positioning and instructing patients regarding x-ray procedures.
  • Operating portable x-ray machines and maintaining imaging equipment.

**Qualifications and Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an approved radiological training program and the ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association.
  • At least one (1) year of diagnostic radiology experience.
